Honduran Murderer in Migrant Caravan Caught Illegally Crossing into U.S.

Mexico gets first leftist leader after 32 years of technocrats

The caravan stopped in the Mexican city of Tijuana, not far from the desired United States border, waiting for their asylum applications to be processed by American authorities - but only after some migrants tried to rush their way through the fence by force.

"In April, another MS-13 member, Herberth Geovani Argueta-Chavez, 18, was apprehended after illegally entering the US with a group suspected to be part of the caravan that headed for the border last spring".

Many plan to seek asylum in the USA but may have to wait months because the US government only processes about 100 of those cases a day at the San Ysidro border crossing in San Diego.

"As President [Donald] Trump and Secretary [Kirstjen] Nielsen warned, over the last few weeks we have identified over 600 known criminals and gang members in the caravan".

All three are being held in Department of Homeland Security custody pending deportation proceedings, officials said.

Thousands of migrants have arrived in Tijuana in recent weeks.

USA authorities say assailants threw a "hail of rocks" at agents, striking four who escaped serious injury.

The first daughter insisted, however, that she isn't anxious about how Mueller's findings might impact her. Ms Trump said all of her emails were "stored and preserved".

Tear gas was sacked at the migrant group, including women and children.

The hunger strike at the border comes nearly a week after U.S. Border Patrol officers fired tear gas at the caravan after hundreds rushed the border.

US President Donald Trump, who has called the caravan an "invasion" full of "hardened criminals" and "thugs", is seeking to overhaul asylum policy to keep applicants out pending approval.

Preparations for the new shelter have been in the works for days, officials said.

None of the 42 migrants arrested in Sunday's clash at the US-Mexico border will be criminally charged.

Lauren Mack, a spokeswoman for Immigration and Customs Enforcement, said the agency could not provide information about the immigration status of the 42 arrested without names because it doesn't track people affiliated with the caravan. Asylum seekers are often released in the USA pending the outcome of their cases in immigration court.
