John Oliver slams Trump's 'bromance' with Saudi Crown Prince

Freed American pastor Andrew Brunson shakes hands with US President Donald Trump at the White House in Washington DC

Last Week Tonight's John Oliver isn't someone to mince words, and after the incident involving the alleged kidnapping and murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi was brought to light last week, the Crown Prince and the Saudi Government have found themselves in the eye of the storm.

Despite the unrest, WWE appears to be sticking to its guns. Renee Young is Monday Night RAW's newest commentator and one of the company's best interviewers.

The WWE has been expanding into Saudi Arabia, hosting a major event earlier this year which was marked by controversy over showing women wrestlers during a promotional segment.

In a almost 20-minute segment on Sunday's Last Week Tonight (watch it above), Oliver detailed the cozy and lucrative relationship between World Wresting Entertainment and Saudi Arabia, specifically Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (or MBS, as he's often called).

England rue Rashford misses in Croatia stalemate
The only chance in the first half fell to Dier , who glanced his header against the far post after a Jordan Henderson corner. Marcus Rashford squanders two opportunities as England draw 0-0 with Croatia in their second UEFA Nations League outing.

While discussing WWE, clips of April's Greatest Royal Rumble were played with Oliver stating that audiences were treated to "wall-to-wall propaganda". Koshoggi has been a vocal critic of the current regime under Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and his father, King Salman, and his disappearance has shocked the world.

"I haven't talked to everybody on the WWE roster but I can tell you that a lot of the people that are scheduled to go to Saudi Arabia; they don't want to go to Saudi Arabia", said Alvarez. They are, as Oliver notes, used to drum up positive publicity for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The event, particularly the Crown Jewel, will earn the WWE a significant payday if it goes ahead, however U.S. politicians have been urging sanctions against Saudi Arabia in light of the situation.
