Hollywood actor Burt Reynolds dies aged 82

The movie's infamous rape scene may have helped the public - especially men - better understand the horrors of sexual attacks, Reynolds said.

He launched his acting career with TV shows like "Gunsmoke" and "Dan August", but his breakout film role was in "Deliverance" in 1972. He turned to acting after injuries derailed his athletic career.

Reynolds had a long relationship with Florida State University, and was a lifelong FSU Seminoles fan. He's been consistently working since he broke into TV in the late 1950s.

LEGENDARY actor Burt Reynolds, star of movies including Smokey and the Bandit and Deliverance, has passed away at the age of 82.

Smith's most memorable Reynolds reference was in Mallrats, when T.S. and Brodie talk with Alyssa Jones about a party during which Alyssa had sex with Clerks baddie Rick Derris on a pool table, while Rick and Alyssa were dressed as Smokey and The Bandit. He also earned People's Choice Awards in 1979, 1982 and 1983 as all-around male entertainer of the year.

Again, the star expressed regrets.

The meeting will also discuss how to coordinate on continuing the political process and the counter-terrorism in Syria, he added. But Syrian government forces are now massing around the province, which has become the last rebel bastion in the country.

NIck Foles Expected To Start The Philadelphia Eagles' Season Opener
Quinn claimed that his team was more concerned about preparing for the Eagles' offense overall, rather than for Foles or Wentz. The team is apparently in no rush to get back on the field and justifiably so if he still hasn't been cleared for contact.

Reynolds is survived by his son, Quenton, whom he adopted with ex-wife Loni Anderson, when he was three days old. In March, he said on the "Today" show that ex-girlfriend Sally Field, who was also his co-star in "Smokey and the Bandit", was the love of his life.

A year later, Anderson released her version of events in a tell-all book called "My Life in High Heels".

Years later, with a mustache gone gray, he suffered from health issues that included open heart surgery. Still, he'll be remembered by more than one generation for the likes of The Cannonball Run, The Player and his Oscar-nominated role in Boogie Nights. Reynolds also checked into a drug rehab clinic in 2009. "It proved I could act, not only to the public but me".

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Reynolds was offered starring roles in Star Wars, Terms of Endearment, and Die Hard, but he turned them down.

Two of Reynold's own "Bandit" Pontiac Trans-Ams have crossed the auction block over the years.
