National Football League players weigh sitting out season until Colin Kaepernick is signed

Columnist Shaun King revealed the news that NFL players are considering missing matches

One of the owners, Jerry Jones of the Dallas Cowboys, told the court that President Trump called him personally about the issue.

"I think it could stir things up which is a problem", said new Carolina Panthers wide receiver Torrey Smith after day one of the second week of Panthers organized team activities.

Just five days ago, the NFL thought they had solved the National Anthem crisis by laying out a policy that would fine any team that has players on the sideline who were not standing and respecting the Anthem.

President Donald Trump viewed his attacks on kneeling National Football League players as a beneficial political wedge issue, The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday.

Newsome is against the new anthem policy and supports the players, urging them not to stop protesting.

Violent Video Game Encourages Players to Take Part in School Shooting
Robinette's concern is that not enough research has been done to find out how video games may be linked to violent behavior. In GTA V, for example, a player can pay a prostitute to have sex, then beat her to death and take back the money.

Ryan Petty lost his 14-year-old daughter in the February shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School . "This is inexcusable. That's a lot of games, so it's expected that some amount of controversial titles will eventually get flagged by Valve in time.

Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross echoed similar sentiments to the New York Daily News in March.

He then filed a grievance case with the National Football League Players Association alleging that the league's owners "colluded" to keep him from pursuing his football career.

In 2016, Kaepernick drew worldwide attention and sparked a protest movement after he began to kneel during the national anthem to raise awareness of racial equality and police brutality. "And also you have the league putting this in and it nearly makes it seem like a guy like Kaepernick, Eric Reed or the guys that started it, makes it seem like what they did was in vain". What's more, he argued, several owners have "testified that Trump and/or Kaepernick's position regarding the national anthem influenced their hiring practices".

"Absolutely there's going to be a challenge to the policy", Geragos said. "Most people who believe that ignore the responses from the players and more importantly why men chose to protest".

Geragos did not name the owner he said testified under oath that he didn't sign Kaepernick because of Trump. This is the first hint of what has been said in the depositions so far. It has been pitched as a unanimous decision but Geragos told Amy Dash on her podcast that is not at all the case.
