The Google I/O 2018 conference has finally started with some big announcements from the tech giant.

Yesterday at Google I/O, Google announced a new set of features for Android P that are supposed to help you be less addicted to your smartphone.

Apart from this, it will also bring smart text selection feature allowing the users to select text from anywhere and user can copy, cut or paste the text from different apps. And when the kids forget to ask nicely, the Assistant will kindly encourage them to say "pretty please".

This new Adaptive Battery works with the advanced machine learning technology.

In similar computer vision-related news, Google debuted a new app called Lookout, which helps the blind and visually impaired to learn about their surroundings through audio descriptions.
