Ohio Dems Condemn Gov. Candidate for Boasting of Sexual Escapades

Three women who are running for the Democratic nomination for governor - Congresswoman Betty Sutton, Dayton Mayor Nan Whaley and former state Rep. Connie Pillich - are calling for Ohio Supreme Court justice Bill O'Neill to resign over comments he made on Facebook alluding to his sexual past. On his personal Facebook, O'Neill admitted to having sexual relations with about 50 women in the last 50 years.

In the post, the OH gubernatorial candidate talks about being sexually intimate with "approximately 50 very attractive females", and said he was "disappointed by this national feeding frenzy about sexual indiscretions decades ago".

In contrast, the OH supreme court's chief justice condemned her colleague for expressing "gross disrespect for women", and his opponents have called for his resignation.

Many pointed out the judge's encounters appeared to be consensual in contrast to Senator Al Franken, who along with Senate-hopeful Roy Moore, is accused of non-consensual sexual contact. O'Neill says his point was to get the past out of the way.

Judge O'Neill noted that as a candidate for governor, his admission would "save my opponents some research time". He goes on to refer to a "gorgeous blonde" who was his true love, as well as a "drop dead gorgeous redhead from Cleveland".

The politician also added that he's "sooooo disappointed in the national feeding frenzy" and pushed to return to matters of politics.

"Roy Moore apparently seems to be a challenged individual when it comes to morality", O'Neill told the website. Al Franken (D-MN), the candidate's campaign manager has resigned. "The next governor of OH must take it seriously to receive my vote". "I think that's very, very clear".

O'Neill's Facebook post sparked some confusion among his social media followers, many them admitting they initially thought the Supreme Court justice had been hacked. He's been convicted of nothing and he he's never had the opportunity to defend himself and that violates due process in America.

"No words can convey my shock", she said. He called the post "disturbing and misguided" and said he had no prior knowledge O'Neill was making it. O'Neill also said he would not hear new cases but will decide on the ones presented before he announced his candidacy. "This gross disrespect for women shakes the public's confidence in the integrity of the judiciary", it concluded.
